Installing Nomu (PWA)
Last updated on
Put Nomu on your home screen—offline-friendly, native feel, works everywhere.
Want Nomu to feel like your app? Install it as a PWA (Progressive Web App): you get a proper icon, a full-screen window, and less “which tab was that again?” energy. Same account as the browser—just a smoother front door.
Head to app.nomu.land for the steps below (that is the live app; the marketing site on nomu.land is separate).
Android (Chrome)
- Open app.nomu.land in Chrome.
- Tap the menu (three dots) → Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Confirm. Launch Nomu from the new icon.
iOS (Safari)
- Open app.nomu.land in Safari.
- Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Name it and tap Add. Open Nomu from your home screen.
Desktop (Chrome, Edge, Arc, Brave)
- Open app.nomu.land.
- Look for Install in the address bar or the browser menu.
- Accept the install. Nomu opens in its own window.
Tips
- You stay on the same account as in the browser; there is no separate “app login.”
- After install, sharing a map link or place into Nomu from another app is often smoother on mobile.
