Adding places

Search, pick a result, set dates—on a new trip or an existing one.
Places are the heart of a trip. Whenever Nomu asks for a location, search, pick the row that matches what you mean (use city and country as hints), then set your dates.
Search tips
- Try the official name, a neighborhood people know, or a larger city if a small venue does not show up.
- On some screens you can narrow search by region if the app offers it.
If nothing matches, see Your first trip for requesting a missing place on GitHub.
Dates
Set when you arrive and leave for that stop. On multi-stop flows, adjust each stop’s range so the story matches reality.
Thumbnails and previews
When Nomu has a strong match, you may see a thumbnail. If it feels wrong, try a different search result—the preview follows the catalog entry, not your personal label.
Tips
- One well-chosen stop beats several fuzzy ones.
- Share into Nomu from maps or messages when you are on mobile.
