Importing bookings (screenshots & PDFs)

Last updated on

Pull flights, stays, and activities from confirmations into your trip — quota depends on your plan.

Import bookings helps you turn booking confirmations into real rows on your trip—transport, stays, and things to do—so you spend less time retyping. Navi reads what you upload and drafts items for you to approve.

Import is available on all tiers with a monthly quota (higher on Founding Explorer; unlimited-style allowance on Explorer subscription when active). If you hit the limit, the app will explain what changed and point you to Pricing.

Before you start

  • Add at least one place to the trip first. Each imported item needs to attach to a stop on that trip.
  • Stay online for upload and processing.

How to open it

Open the trip from Trips, then use the trip’s menu (next to share) and choose the import option for bookings or confirmations.

What you do

  1. Upload screenshots or PDFs of confirmations, e-tickets, or similar. You can drag files in or paste an image when the upload screen is focused away from text fields.
  2. Run the import when you are ready—the app will read the files. Large or busy documents can take a while; if something stalls, try fewer pages or a clearer crop.
  3. Review what came back. Open each draft, fix anything that looks off, and say which stop on the trip it belongs to. Skip or discard anything you do not want.
  4. Confirm when you are happy. Nomu adds the approved items to the trip and returns you there.

If nothing useful is extracted, try a tighter screenshot that shows names, dates, and the route or property clearly.

Tips

  • One confirmation per image or short PDF often works better than a single giant export.
  • After import, edit or delete rows like anything you added by hand.
  • For limits and upgrades, see Free vs Founding Explorer.
