Trip reminders
Last updated on
A gentle nudge the day before and the day your trip starts—on by default, off whenever you like.
Give a trip a future start date and Nomu can tap you on the shoulder before you go—so a trip you planned weeks ago doesn't sneak up on you.
When they fire
For any trip with a start date in the future, you get up to two reminders:
- The day before — "Your trip to somewhere starts tomorrow."
- The day of — a little "today's the day ✈️" nudge.
Change the trip's dates and the reminders move with them. Trips already underway or in the past don't get reminders (you don't need a heads-up for a trip you're already on).
Turning them on
The first time you create a trip with a future date, Nomu asks permission to send notifications—in the moment it's actually useful, never with a pushy prompt on your first launch. Say yes and you're set.
If you said no and change your mind later, enable notifications for Nomu in your device settings, then toggle reminders back on (below).
Turning them off
Not a fan? Head to the Profile tab and switch Trip reminders off. That cancels every scheduled reminder right away. Flip it back on whenever you like.
Good to know
- Reminders are on-device. Nomu schedules them locally—your trip details aren't sent anywhere to make this work.
- They're tied to a trip's dates, so a trip without a start date simply won't have any.
